"Slowly, But Surely"
Can your marble be the LAST to make it to the finish line? In this activity we will discuss Newton's three Laws of Motion and how forces such as gravity and friction affect moving objects. Explore how incline planes can affect motion as well. Use this knowledge of motion and teamwork to build a structure that your marble can move through slowly...but without stopping.

"The Night of the Robots"
Explore the concepts of robotics in this interactive workshop featuring the Robosapien and the Jitterbug. Learn the difference in robotic (algorithmic) and humanistic (heuristic) thinking. Use simple materials to explore the mechanics of electric circuits as you build a robotic jitterbug. Also discover what part sound and electricity play in how the Robosapiens execute their programs. You’ll find it exciting to program your robots and then sit back and watch the Robosapiens clean up the messy room!
