Are you looking to add even more excitement to your school's visit to Fort Discovery? Then our Discovery Lab program is exactly what you need. Challenges abound for students as we provide exciting, hands-on learning opportunities for all. Each Discovery Lab presentation is designed to enhance observation, investigation and prediction skills as students participate in unique and engaging activities. All Discovery Labs have been correlated to the national science standards as well as state standards for both Georgia and South Carolina.

Discovery Labs are conducted during school group visits to Fort Discovery. Unless otherwise noted in the lab description, these hands-on student workshops are 50 minutes in length and cover a variety of topics . The labs are limited to 25 students with a minimum requirement of 15 students per session. Fort Discovery will conduct labs with less than 15 students but will charge the rate for 15 students ($37.50).
